The South-Auckland Muslim Association (SAMA) Mosque (also known as Jamia Masjid Al-Mustafa) is one of the largest mosques in New Zealand. The South-Auckland Muslim Association (SAMA) - Jamia Masjid Al-Mustafa was established in year 2000 by a groups of Fiji Indians immigrants, to provide social, religious, educational and recreational services for the Muslim community.
In year 2004 the construction of the South Auckland Muslim Association Mosque was completed at 26 Mangere Rd Otahuhu, Auckland and is open for all salat and 24/7 throughout Ramadhan. Jummah Prayers are at 12.40pm (1.40pm during daylight saving time). All welcome.
South Auckland is one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse areas of New Zealand and SAMA and our members, like the wider community, is multicultural and welcomes all comers.
